Clear & Cloudy
Ther. 20o WED. DEC. 28th, 1898 Wind >W.
Much colder and the wind
blowing strong from N.W. makes
it harder to bear. Alice Tyson
telephoned to me asking for
her bill. Edwd drove up to
Brighton to assist at
decorating the church & to a
distrubution of toys & c to the
sunday school class, Dora
having gone yesterday with
Willie. Dora & Edwd came
home just after H & I had done
supper, they not having had
supper and were quite cold.
After supper I went to the store
P.O. & to Fairall's office.
Thomas S Stabler came about
9-o'clk in the evening to spend
the night with us.

Ther. THURS. DEC 29th, 1898 Wind S.E.
This has been a beautiful day
for winter. Willie Fanny & the
baby came to make us a visit.
I walked to Ashton & back.
Afternoon Saml Oldfield called.
I went to the store & P.O. & to the
mill. T S Stabler left us about
3. o'clk. Willie also went back to
"Fairfield", and towards
evening Edwd also went, expecting
to go with Willie to a "church
sociable" at one of the Brown's
Fanny & baby remained with
us. Henry Johnson (colored)
was here fora certificate to
gain admittance to Hospital
in Washington.
