SWEET PEAS.
May well be called America's favorite, as it is such a popular and easily grown flower that rich and poor alike can enjoy its fragrance and beauty. Out of nearly 200 varieties which we carefully examined on the trial grounds we selected the following as being the VERY BEST, and they include all desirable colors, shades and markings. Our seed was grown for us by the most prominent Sweet Pea specialists in America and cannot fail to please the most fastidious. Ask for circular giving instructions for growing.
AURORA.--Extra large flowers, flaked and striped bright salmon on a white ground. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 20c.
BLACK KNIGHT.--A superb novelty, flowers large, of rich glossy blackish maroon. Pkt. 5c; oz. 15c; ¼ lb. 40c.
BLANCHE BURPEE.--The finest pure white; blooms freely. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 20c.
BOREATION.--Very fine dark variety, with immense, bold attractive flowers, borne in great profusion. Color, red, mahogany and maroon. Very beautiful. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 25c.
CAPTAIN OF THE BLUES.--Large shell-shaped purplish flowers, wings deep blue. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 20c.
COUNTESS OF RADNOR.--One of the handsomest. Standard rich lavender mauve, wings lighter. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 25c.
CUPID.--An unique novelty, of dwarf, shrubby growth, therefore desirable for bedding. Flowers pretty and freely produced. Mixed colors. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 25c.
EMILY HENDERSON.--Earliest blooming standard pure white variety. It begins to flower nearly as soon as the Extra Early Blanche Ferry. Flowers of snowy whiteness, with reflexed standard. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 20c.
EMLY ECKFORD.--A superb large flower of rosy heliotrope color. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 20c.
EX. EARLY BLANCHE FERRY--Earliest of all. An improvement on Painted Lady. Delicately handsome and a profuse bloomer. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 20c.
GRAY FRIAR--White clouded and dotted lilac. A decidedly odd and attractive variety which is quite popular. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 25c.
HON. F. BOUVERIE.--A grand new variety with pinkish salmon at base of standard and wings shading to light salmon and buff at edges. Pkt. 5c; oz. 15c; ¼ lb. 50c.
LOTTIE ECKFORD.--White suffused with rosy lilac, while the whole flower is edged blue. Beautiful. Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 20c.
LOVELY.--The most beautiful shades of soft shell-pink, shading to very faint rose at the outer edges. Grand flowers of large size, most aptly named. It is "lovely!" Pkt. 5c; oz. 10c; ¼ lb. 20c.
LADY MARY CURRIE.--Flowers of large size. Standards large, heavily veined with salmon-pink, lower portion shaded with carmine wings recurved and of a soft rose pink. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, ¼ lb. 30c.
LOTTIE HUTCHINS.--A novelty of straw color, striped and clouded light pink. Pkt. 5c, oz. 15c, ¼ lb. 45c.
MRS. DUGDALE--One of Eckford's latest novelties, standard rose, wings primrose, shaded and splashed rose. Grand large flower. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, ¼ lb. 35c.
NAVY BLUE.--A grand novelty and the darkest and truest blue of any variety in existence. A free bloomer. Pkt. 5c, oz. 15c, ¼ lb. 40c.
PRINCE OF WALES.--A bright, self-colored, deep-rose flower of grand size and beautifully hooded form; frequently four on a stem. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, ¼ lb. 30c.
RAMONA.--A most beautiful, creamy-white flower, striped and flaked blush pink. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, ¼ lb. 20c.
ROYAL ROSE.--An immense sized, beautiful clear rose colored flower. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, ¼ lb. 20c.
SALOPIAN.--By far the best of the red varieties, of immense size, full open flower of most brilliant color. Has long stems and is in every way an ideal which cannot be surpassed. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, ¼ lb. 20c.
