long, distant, with a broad smooth margin;
fascicule of vessils [vessels] simple, oval, forming
the margin, and curved above in two
horns; interval between the scars thickly
dotted with round devated points resembling
glands, but probably the base of small
rootlets. Horns meet near the
summit of the scar
