Akeck Shebe, or Kettle river, See Kettle river.

Albion, a town laid out in Iowa county on the east side of the Pekatonica in Town three range five east.

Allen's Bay, a small bay at the head of Cass Lake, near the source of the Mississippi, so named in honor of Lieut. James Allen of the United States Army, who visited it with others in 1832.

[?]anecon River- a strem entering Lake Superior near Fond du Lac; between Sandy and Poplar rivers.
