Crux (Cross) Prairie-or Prairie La Crosse, a beautiful level prairie at the mouth of Ball river on the Mississippi, where the Indians formerly played at some favorite game similar to that called "ball" among school boys and others.

Cypress Lake-A lake long, narrow, forming part of our northern boundary between Saisaginaga and Bois Blane Lakes. Its length is about 10 m.
