Eagle

East Branch, a considerable stream rising near the Blue Mounds in Iowa County and running south about thirty miles. Enters the Pekatonoke at Wyota.

East Branch, a small branch of the Menomonee river in Milwaukee county, about eight miles in length.

East river a name sometimes applied to the Manitoo or Devil river, in Brown county.

East Troy- See Troy (East)- a post office.

East Twin river- See Twin Rivers.

Eau Gallais- a Branch of Chippewa from W 18 miles above mouth-has mill.

Elk Creek, the outlet of Elk Lake. It enters the Mississippi a few miles above the Great Rapids. 15 yds wide.

Elk Grove, a body of timbered land in the south west part of Iowa county extending from the state line of Illinois to within six miles of the Platte Mounds. Fever river takes its rise in this grove. Genl Wm. R.
