Geneva Lake. A beautiful sheet of water in Walworth county eight miles long and about one mile average breadth. It is vulgarly called "Big Foot Lake" from a fancied resemblance to the shape of the human foot. It discharges its waters through Geneva creek into the Pishtaka. It is supplied mostly from springs, not having any considerable tributary. It lies principally in town one range seventeen. Its largest diamter rising nearly east and west. Exactly 19 miles circumference-Area 5423 acres or nearly 8 1/2 miles (8.46)

Geneva Creek the outlet of Geneva lake in Walworth Co a considerable stream about twelve miles in length affording a good water power at its head in the village of Geneva. It enters the Pishtaka at Burlington in Racine county, having been augmented by the waters of Sugar creek and Honey creek.
