Green Bay, a town established in 1839 in Brown County embracing "all the district of country included in the private claims on the east side of the Neenah river lying north of the south line of lot numbers eleven of private claims; so much of fractional township twenty three in range twenty one, as is not included in the town of Depere; and sections from twenty eight to thirty six inclusive in fractional township twenty four, range twenty one." Pop. 1842=842. In 1843 the [n2?] miles of T23 R22 & the lows of Bay Settlement Pausaukie, Howard and Oconto were united with and made part of Green Bay!

Green Lake (Big) a sheet of water eight miles long and two broad in Marquette County lying east of Ruckaway lake. It discharges its waters northwardly, into the Neenah river.
