Kentucky City, the former name of the town of Dekorra on the Wisconsin river near the Portage.

Kettle river, a branch of the St. Croix from the south west, entering between Snake and Fowle rivers.

Kettle rapids on the St. Croix river nine miles in extent, between Snake river and Yellow river.

Kettle river (Akeek Shebe) The upper part of Rum river & above Spirit Lake, is called by this name. It is a considerable stream rising near the St. Louis river, one hundred miles north of Mille Lac. It runs through a dreary region of tamarack and cedar swamps, rending its waters turbid.

Kewaunee river, a tributary of Lake Michigan in Brown county entering immediately east from the southern extremit of Green Bay. It is about twenty five miles long and drains about one hundred and twenty square miles.
