[Koshkonocky-(or Cedar)] Mequon Creek the outlet of Musquewoc Lake in Washington County; it enters the Mississippi river a little below the Falls, and has a similar fall over the same ledge of rocks. It is called the Mequon river on Capt. Cram's map. It is a rapid stream supplied by many copious springs, gushing out of the limestone rock at various points along its course.
