Mequanigo Lake, an expansion of the Pishtaka (Fox) river near the village of Mequanigo one and a half miles long and half a mile wide. It likes principally within an extensive marsh.

Mequanigo Creek, a small branch of the Pishtaka near the south line of Milwaukee county. It is about fifteen miles in length.

Mequanigo- a town in Milwaukee county embracing the surveyed township five in range eighteen. It contains three small lakes, the Pishtaka enters it on the east, and the Mequanigo creek passes across the southern porton of the town. There are several small prairies but most of the land is of the kind called "oak openings". Pop. 1840-172.

Mexico (New)- a town in green county, formerly the seat of Justice of that county.
