Muskoda, a place on the Wisconsin river on English prairie in Iowa County, 20 miles below Sauk Prairie to which the land office [is now] was once removed from Mineral Point; there is no town here.

Muskos a branch of the Menomonee river of Green Bay, sometimes called Pine river. It is so low in summer that it is not navigable except for the smallest canoes, and in some seasons it is almost dry. It enters a few miles below the mouth of the Brule, and near the Big Quinnesec[k] Falls.

Musquewoc Lake, a beautiful sheet of water four miles long forming the source of the Koshkonong or Cedar creek, in the western part of Washington county. 9 m. 1/4 periphery.
4 m. long. 50 chains wide.
