Oak Creek, a small stream in Milwaukee county, emptying into Lake Michigan, ten miles south of Milwaukee. It affords water power, and a saw mill has been erected on it at the place where the road from Milwaukee to Racine crosses the creek.

Oak Creek-a town in Milwaukee county lying on the Lake shore embracing the surveyed township five in range twenty two, and a small fraction in range twenty three. It is well watered by Oak creek and its branches; and Root River runs [for] three miles along the south line of the town. The soil is good and covered with heavy timber.

Oconomowoc Creek, a stream rising in Washington County and passing through a group of lakes in Milwaukee county enters Rock river in Jefferson county-it affords water power at several points, two of which are improved.
