Onion river, a tributary of the Sheboygan river in Sheboygan county. It runs in a southward direction for some distance to a place called the Salt Licks, and then turns completely around and runs north into the Sheboygan, about a mile below the mouth of Mullet river.

Osceola a town in Grant county on the Mississippi, two miles west from Gibralter, and a little above the mouth of the Platte river.

Oshkosh a post town on the west side of Lake Winnebago at the entrance of the Neenah the county seat of Winnebago county.

Ottawa (or Courtorielle) Lake, a lake near the source of the [Red Cedar] Ottawa or Courtorielle branch of the Chippewa river, about twelve miles long with irregular, elevated shores.

Ossin (Rock) river, this, the Indian name of Rock river is applied to a branch rising in Washington County and running with a remarkably crooked course westward enters Rock river in town twelve, near the foot of the Great Winnebago marsh.
