*Pauquette, a town in Portage county, situated on the Military road twelve miles south of Fort Winnebago, and twenty miles north from Madison, on a stream affording water power, and near the edge of a great prairie.

Pawaugan-Indian name of Wolf river, which see.

Pawaugan Lake, a lake about ten miles long in Winnebago County on Wolf river just before its confluence with the Neenah.

*Pasaukie a settlement on the west side of Green Bay forming a part of the town of Green Bay.
