Penette river (Little) or Pine river, a branch of the St. Croix from the west entering next above the Great Penette.

Pensaukee river, a small river next south of the Oconto in Brown county. On some maps it is the Arndt river.

Pensaukee- a town in Brown county embracing the surveyed townships twenty five, twenty six, and twenty seven in ranges eighteen, nineteen, twenty, and twenty one.

Pepin Lake. A very beautiful lake being an expansion of the Mississippi river twenty one miles long and having an average breadth of about two and a half miles. It fills the whole valley between the bluff, and is owing to the current very easily thrown into heavy swells by the least wind. About half way up the Lake is the Maidens rock, a bluff four hundred and fifty feet high much celebrated in Indian storey.
