Sandy Lake river, the outlet of Sandy Lake into the Mississippi, one and a half miles long, about fifty yards wide, and having near its mouth a rapid sixty yards in length with a descent of three feet.

Sandy Point- See LaPointe.

Sandy Portage a beautiful rapid on the Menomonee below the Little Suinnesee, about one mile in extent. There is no perpendicular fall.

Sandy River, a tributary of Lake Superior at Fond du Lac from the south.

Sandy River. A tributary of Lake Superior entering six miles south west from the mouth of Raspberry river, and three miles east from the point called the Detour.
