Shabine (or Shawruno) Lake, near the head of Wolf river-a portage connects it with the Oconto river.

Sheboygan river. a large stream rising near Lake Winnebago in Fond du Lac County, and running through Sheboygan county into Lake Michigan. The name is said to mean "the river that comes out of the ground". It drains about three hundred and eighty square miles of surface. There is a rapid near its mouth, affording a valuable water power, and mills have been erected there.
