Sheboygan Lake, a sheet of water about five 15 [illegible] miles [miles] in diameter near the north west corner of Sheboygan county; The Sheboygan [watery] river runs through it. It has been said that this lake [has been miss represented on the maps] is not [being] so large as is [the] represented on the plats of public surveys.

Sheboygan, a town laid out at the mouth of the Sheboygan river in Sheboygan County fifty one miles from Milwaukee-[illegible supertext G.B.] it is at [handsome ground] [beautiful] a point which most soon become one of much importance, as the outlet or shipping place of a large and fertile tract of country. A harbor may be easily constructed at this place.

[Shecopenong] Scupernong a stream rising in a small lake in the western part of Milwaukee county and running west enters Bark river in Jefferson county.

Shell river (Aissippi)- a branch of the St. Croix from the east rising in a small lake abounding in shells.
