Sinsinewa Mound, a high conical mound composed of limestone and resembling the Blue Mounds and Platte Mounds, situated near the south part of Grant county. A post office is established here, and it is the residence of the Hon G.W. Jones late Delegate in Congress from this Territory.

Sinsinewa Creek, a small stream rising in Grant county in town one range [two] one west and rising into [the Mississippi] Fever in Illinois. [(Called also Menomonee Creek)].

Six Prairie Rapids. Six Rapids on the Mississippi river within a distance of fifteen miles, about ninety miles above the Falls of St. Anthony.

Skinners Creek, a small branch of the Pekatonica in Green county entering three miles below the "Forks".
