Sugar Creek PO.—a small stream in Walworth County running east
into Honey Creek; it rises in range sixteen near the
sources of Honey Creek, and is about eighteen miles in
length. It lies south of Honey Creek.

Summer, on Shell view, a branch of the [St?] Croix.

Summit PO. a town in Milwaukee County embracing the surveyed
townships seven and eight in range seventeen. It is
watered by Bark river, Oconomowoc creek, and fifteen
small lakes. The north of the town is well
supplied with timber; south of the Oconomowoc, the
country is "open" or [prairie?]. Mills have been
erected at several places, a post office has been established,
and the land especially in the southern part of the town
is nearly all occupied for farming purposes.
