Turtle Portage Lake, a small lake forming the source of Turtle Portage river.

Turtle Portage River, a branch of the Missisippi from the north, entering [Cass] Winnepeck Lake. It is the outlet of Turtle Portage Lake where a portage of three miles connects it with [Rapid river] Grand Turtle river, a branch of the Mississippi entering at the north side of Cass Lake, fifteen yards wide at its mouth, the river is forty miles long, originates in Turtle Lake and passes through eleven other lakes. There is a portage from its source to Red Lake, and thence to the Red river, which is often traveled. This was once supposed to be the source of the Mississippi.

Twin Rivers, two streams called the East Twin and West Twin rivers that take their rise in Brown county, and running in a southerly direction nearly parallel to each other & with the lake, into Manitowoc county, and entering Lake Michigan six miles north from the mouth of the Manitowoc river. They are nearly of the same size and unite just before entering the Lake.

Twin Lakes (Nashotah), two small lakes lying north of Nemahbin lake in Milwaukee county. They are about the same size, and the main road passes between them. N. Twin 291 ft A. 67 ch long, 37 wide, 2 miles in circ.
South Twin- 75 ch long, 27 wide-per 2 m 15 ch.

Two Islands River, a tributary of Lake Superior from the northwest, entering between Milk and Baptiste rivers.
