Union, P.O. a town in Rock county as modified in 1843 embracing [as such of] town four and the north half of town three in ranges ten & eleven [and twelve] as lie west of Rock River. It contains some fine prairie land, is watered by Rock river, the Catfish and by a small branch of Sugar river.

Union, a town in Jefferson county embracing the townships seven and eight in Range sixteen. It includes a portion of Rock river with Peck's rapids, also the Oconomowoc creek, and near the south part of the town are several small lakes affording abundance of cranberries. This town is not much settled.
