Watertown, the name of a village at Johnson's Rapids in Jefferson county, where there is a grist mill two saw mills, and a number of dwellings, mechanic's shops &c.; and this place is undoubtedly destined to become a place of much importance. It is pleasantly situated on the east side of the Rock river.-

Waukesha- the Indian name for Rochester.
Waukesha; a lake half a mile in diameter, half a mile west of Wind Lake in Racine county.

Waupakun, Bridgeport, a town laid out on the east side of the Neenah at the mouth of Plum creek, below Rapid L. brooke.
