Tu 27 The morning is clear calm & a little cool tho the days after
George &) 10 oclock is verry warm. This morning George, Tom McCanless

commenced working on the Smoke house foundation I am bording
them 2 meals a day With John & Charley, the foundation & rock
that built the Seller was much damaged by the fire, I regret
Seller that I have undertaken to repair it the boys got along verry
Mag well. Mag went to preaching by day and night. Whe is not so
well today.

& they were ordered by Overseer to mend the bridge across the
Bridge pawn they worked only half the day they did not git done the
