George H. counted every Shingle on the house bebefore they were satisfyed of the No. they thought there was 4000 but they counted them on the house & there was on the North side 1908 & on the South side 1760 making in all 3672 which lacks 328 shingles of this 4000.

Mag Mag has not got home from Cincinnatti We got a letter from Martha Jane directed to her sister. She is verry weak having been quite sick Wrote to Martha Jane maled it Monday 28. She had not got it when she wrote.
