Thomas L. Porter } Son Thomas came late in the evening & stayed all night there is nothing doing only roving the Country all over by the blacks William is tonight making himself a pr of Shoes, finished one & will finish the other shortly.

Freedman Missiippie } Freedmen in Mississippi is bad & commanding some attention by the North
William Shoes } William finished making himself a pair of Shoes at night
Hogs Peggy pigs } We finished marking 9 out of 10 young Piggs Peg's put them in a pen, they will be three months old the 1st. Jany We have 2 Sows & 13 pigs piged 10 Decr.
