1868 ) The morning is cloudy Wind from the North ground froze &

Mon 10th ) verry cold

Hamon Webster came last night & a youth with him he is on his
way to Lebanon College leaves this morning.

William
William has not come home since last wednesday, he is in Town

attending to a Clerk's Office My health is verry bad, the
cold I have caught is a hurting me verry much I rested badly
through the night.

Snow
It has been snowing a little all day & in the evening at
night it is snowing like wewill have a good snow the Ground
at dark is 2 or 3 Inches deep & still snowing after night. I
have been verry unwell all day.

The morning is clearing off Wind is from N. E. The Ground
is covered with snow and verry cold We have the most severe
Vinter I have ever witnesses The stook all look verry bad &
poore

Wm Sold (
his horses ) William has sold his sorrel Mare, her Colt, & 2 year old, his
&c &c (
for land ) Comodore Stud, & the Sorrel Mare he got of Alfred Harrison, &
Failure (
The Sale ) old Allis for $ he got in exchange for them a piece of land
of Williams (
to Holcomb ) lying in the 21 district on the North side of D. R. he traded
all fell (
through Wm) with Halcomb & he has taken off the horses.
Got back (
his horses ) Doctr Pillow was sent for to see Fanna this morning before day,
Dr Pillow (
Fanna Boy ) had a cold ride of it. Fanna Thos Wife had a fine boy large

& likely The sun has shined out & the snow melted. William

has abandoned home
