The morning is cloudy looks like rain Thomas is cutting the noses of the hogs to keep them from rooting. Charley & Plim is plowing in Oats & Jack is sowing they have go done all but about a band Richd plowed to dinner & then went to Town It has rained at 10oclock We have put 15 bushels on 5 acres.

I sent Margaret the Ward robe to Jacks Sent Mrs Lucy Alderson 2 1/2 bushels of Meal. George Hargroves took the Wagon & things to Town. -- I sent by him for Candles $1.00
2 lamp Chimley .40cts Mrs Young & her daughter Miss Allis came after dinner. I got a verry good Mess of Turnip Greens & midlin Bacon I relished it much for my dinner.
