Wed 19 The morning is partially clear It commenced rain about 2 oclock

& rained verry hard & until the whole earth seemed to be covered

with watter 3 or 4 Inches deep with watter upon a bad & terable

rain. William Thomas & myself went & surveyed off 52 acres
