Th 12 The morning is clear calm & frosty, & cool. We are trying
to git our Stocls halled to the Mill Working 6 Oxen & 4 Mules
& it is verry hard work, the ground is wet & Mirey the Wheels
sinks nearly to the hubs. I stayed about home all day Went
Jack Patton ) in my Bugga out to where they were halling Stocks. Jack Patton
Dan helped hall stocks. Dan is helping pick out Cotton (Dan &
Felix 32 (Grissa 21) Matta 20 (Lorra & Clary 18) (Jim 50) in
all making 141 lbs

Fri 13 The morning is clear calm quite cold, frost. Olen Weakley
came late last evening, stayed all night, he has been down
South. John Garay is helping do every thing he can but is
Weak Not well & can do but verry little
Dan Dan came up this morning bad head ake not able to do any
Garay thing Went & lay down. Garay is cutting wood to hall, William
Cotton is helping hall Stocks Jack is halling his Cotton to the Gin
George H. has one wagon halling Felix 10 lbs Grissa 29 Clary
