A clear colde day. Ben got home this morning at 5 oclock from Jim Powers. Said he had a good time. Josie got dinner today and sewed on her quilt some. I got breakfast and milked the cows and set by the fire nearly all day. I sewed a little finished a under waist for Edna to night.

A very rainy day. Ben & Jim got out a few peas this morning.
Josie sewed. Made Franklin some under waist and drawers and Edna a pair of drawers. I phoned to night to hear from Mrs. Edmons & Miss Alice Wooding. They are very sick yet. I want to go to see them soon.

A cloudy day. No rain. It is needed so bad. They finished plowing over the corn. It is so dry that they hardly know what to do. Ben worked on his flowers some. Jim replanted the water mellons. I done nothing that you can see. I made Edna an under waist. I wanted to go to Gretna so bad but could not get off. I need needles and thread and buttons. Lelia Ward washed for us today and ironed and sent the clothes home. She is a good hand.
