A good day but windy. Ben & Josie and Jim went to Chatham. Willie Mayhew & Owen went to Danville and have not got home yet. Henry & Edna and I staid at home most of the day. Henry & Edna went to Marvins this evening. I done a little washing and sweeping.

A good day. Jim & Ben went to Lee Brumfields this evening & Henry.

Josie went to Rob Hubbards this morning. Edna & Franklin and I staid home all day.

Paul Bennett come a while this evening. I am all ways glad to see Paul.

Lucius Gravely passed here to day. He said he would take the school at Renan for a while so I guess the children will start to school in the morning.

Cloudy most of the day, Ben & Mayhew loaded Mayhews truck and started to Danville. Jim & Owen burned a plant bed & sowed it tonight. Jim and Marvin has gone to Strait Stone.

Josie come home this evening. Mrs. Hubbard died yesterday. Lucius Gravely commenced to teach school at Renan this morning. Henry Brumfield went to school. Edna & Franklin and I staid here all day. Gladis Brumfield come with Henry home.

A good day. The men folks hauled feed all the morning, finished a plant bed and plowed up a potatoe patch this evening. Josie finished Edna's dress today. Josie got a letter from Mary Brumfield to day.

I worked some button holes in Eva Smith's aprons & carried them home. Marvin is very much complaining this evening. Something killed one of my hens last night.

Edna did not go to school to day. She has a bad colde

A rainy day. Ben commenced to cut feed but it rained so that he had to quit.

Josie got dinner. I sewed some, finished two garments. Nearly all has colds. Edna has such a cough that I dont think she will sleep much to night. Jim & Ben and Josie are playing cards to night for pastime. It is raining hard now.
