Snowed this morning but it is clear tonight.

We all staid at home to day. Did not eat but twise.

Kate and Irvin Harvey come a little while. I was so glad that they come. They did not stay half long enough. The teachers commenced to board them selves today at Kates. Virginia was sick to day. I hope she may soon be well a gain. Dodson Bailiss come a little while today.

Rain and hail nearly all day one of the worst days this winter. I got dinner and milked and fed the chickens. I was most a fraid to put my foot out of doors. Mr Bailiss come over a little while. Tonight Tom and Chesley Edmons come and staid until bed time. We had soup for dinner. We grown ups enjoyed it fine. Henry is still right sick.

A clear nice day. We all staid at home most of the day. Just at night Ben went to Charless to get his team to go to Long Island after guano.

Mr Owen come to day wants to move to morrow. He will move in the house that Mr Bailiss moved from.

Kate Harvey come to see us to day. Josie got dinner. She fixed every thing very nice. I think all of us enjoyed dinner.

I have not seen any of Carries folks to day. Paul sent me his gloves to mend. I guess I will mend them tomorrow if nothing happens.

A cloudy day. Ben went to George Blairs this morning. This evening he went to Mr Worshams with Chesley Edmons. Mr Owen plowed. Josie ironed most all day.

I went to Jim Doss s. Mrs Doss was getting on fine so far as I could see.

I come back by Mr Bailiss they were all well.

Denia and Cordie Blair come this evening. I am sorry that I was not at home.

A cloudy morning and rain this evening.

Josie washed this morning did not hang out the clothes. She put in a quilt this evening and we quilted some. Ben went to Strait Stone this evening. Marvin went with him.

The branch was most passed fording. He come home and helped me milk.

10 oclock

Mr Bailiss come and bought some butter this evening.
