A good day and very warm. Jim plowed all day laying by corn. Oscar and Henry Brumfield finished thining corn this morning. Oscar plowed this evening. Henry & Hugh played all the evening. Henry went with Hugh home this evening.

Ben went to the meeting of the school board at Green field this morning.

Edna and I went to White Falls. Ben carried us and come and brought us home.

Josie got dinner. She cooked cabbage and potatoes and baked apples.

A good day and very warm. Ben & Jack painted the stable & buggy house tops. Jim went to the mill.

Josie got dinner & ironed. I went with Mr Willie Mayhew & wife to Long Island. We all fished some. We did not catch any thing. I am so thankful that they would be troubled with me. I eat dinner with them. The whole trip did not cost me a penny.

Marvin went to Jim Eades and got seed wheat. He brought some for Ben. Marvin went to Long Island and got a bed stead this evening.

A good day & very warm Jim hauled a load of rock this morning and this evening Ben & Jim loaded up the olde pit Ben went after Mrs Carr I was so glad for her to come Carrie & Kate came down a little while this evening Mrs Owen came this morning

I had a fall tonight I had a bucket of peas and a lighted lamp in my hands The Lamp did not break or the chimney it hurt me a little I am glad it was no worse 9 o'clock

A cloudy day warm and good. Ben & Owen worked on the wheat land. Jim has not bin well. He had the tooth ache and his jaw is swolen. Josie got the most of the dinner. Nellie attended to the baby.

To day is my birth day. I am 73 years olde. I got up at five oclock and got breakfast. Seven: milked two cows then churned. Washed 68 pieces and went to Marvins. Come home and milked.

Nellie & Josie got the supper. I kept the baby.

Ben said he would carrie me to the river. I had no one to go with me. Thought I would wait and go some other day if I can.

I started John a letter to day.

Ben has gone hunting to night.

A good day. Very warm for the time of year.

Josie & I got dinner.

Nellie went home this evening. Ben carried her to Gretna. Jim and Franklin went.

I went to Marvins a few minutes. Ren & Ethel and all their children come a while this evening. I was glad to see them.

We agreed to take a negro girl to help us. She came this morning to see us.

Lawson Emerson & Jo Edmons come this evening to see Henry.

Aubra & Emet Brumfield was at Marvins this evening and Irvin Harvey. They had a time riding wheels.
