A clear day. Ben went to see Charles this morning. He is very feeble.

Ben and Owen cut in the woods this evening. Josie staid at home all day. Miss Mayhan and Virginia Harvey come down here a while this evening. I went to Reynolds and staid all day.

They had killed hogs at Reynolds yesterday. Mollie gave me a mess of meat. They were all well up there. Ben has gone to Strait Stone to the lodge to night. All of our folks has gone to bed and I will go soon.

A cool cloudy day.

Ben carried me to Renan this morning. I staid with Charles nearly all day. He is very bad off yet. Mag had quite crow[d] to day for dinner Miss Alice Wooding Mrs Duckey Kellie Mrs Sallie Strance.

A mink caugh one of my hens that was setting.

Josie killed a chicken and baked a cake.

Miss Mayhan and Virginia come here a while.

A cool windy day.

Ben helped Marvin work on his barn. William Gilbert cut wood for Ben.

Josie washed.

I got dinner and staid with the children.

This evening Josie quilted I went to George Blairs. Denia was at home by her self. Isla and Cordia had gone to Wren Worshams. Nettie was at school. Nettie Blair and Bulah Brumfield and Virginia Harvey all went to Willie Mayhews this evening from school.

A good day most of the day.

Ben worked on his car some this morning. One of the cows was sick. Marvin and Posie and Lee Brumfield all helped him a bout her. Posie Reynolds eat dinner here for the first time in a long time.

This evening Rena and Audry and Fessy(?) Mayhew and Virginia Harvey and Delma Owen all come all for eggs to set.

I did not have but one setting. Virginia got them.

To night Ben and Marvin has gone to Strait Stone to the lodge.

A good day. We want rain badly.

Ben went to Chatham.

Kate and Virginia and Hazel and Marvin all went to Chatham. Henry and I finished planting potatoe slips this morning.

Lizzie and Gordon Bennett come this evening. We all went up to see Carrie a while. Mr and Mrs Padget and Ethel Worsham and Isla Blair was at Carries. Ben went to Odie Kellies after the tobacco planter. He carried all the children with him.
