A good day. The men folks worked on their tobacco all day.

I washed a little this morning. Josie got dinner. She had croped [?] greens and beets, onions & potatoes and tomatoes and pies. It was all good but worked her two hard.

This evening I went to George Blairs. The girls were seeding cherries. Denia & Mrs Hutcherson was gone to see Ethel Worsham. I come by Carries. Josie was there. We seeded some cheries.

A good day. Ben & Josie staid at home all day.

We fried chicken for dinner and had berrie pie.

Henry went to Mags this evening. Edna went with Marvin to Sunday School and to Ren Worshams.

I went to see Posies baby. She is not well. The dr was to see her Friday. I do hope she may get well soon.

Jim & Alace Thomson and the children was at Johnsons this evening.

A good day. Ben went to the meeting of the school board and a meeting of some sort a gain to night. He has gone to Strait Stone to the meeting of odd fellows. Marvin & Lucius Gravely went with him.

Jim worked all day.

Mr Owen went to the mill.

Josie got dinner. She baked some pies for Sundays dinner.

I went to Marvins this evening. Carrie was finishing up the little girls dresses.

A good day. Ben went to Brookneal this morning.

Jim sowed a turnip patch this evening.

Josie got dinner. She killed a chicken and baked pies this evening.

I went to Marvins this evening. Alma Bennett and I staid with the children. Marvin and Carrie went to Strait Stone to preaching. The protracted meeting commenced to day.

Earl and Lizzie Bennett come to Carries this evening. Lizzie come with me home. I am glad that she came.

Edna & Franklin went to Mr Hutchersons by themselves this morning.

A good day. Ben & Jim moved some tobacco.

Josie got dinner. She baked pies. Evylin & Edna and I went to Worshams pond. Josie fixed our dinner. We went on a buggy and drove Jake, Bens horse. Nellie caned some tomatoes. Denia & Kate come to see us this evening.

I am sorry that I was not at home.

Nellie dug some sweet potatoes.
