A good day.

The men folks worked on tobacco land.

Josie washed.

I got dinner. Marvin carried Denia and I and Ren Worsham to Mr Jessie Worshams pond. I caught some minners. When I got home Josie had milked the cows and she got supper.

A good morning. Rain this evening.

The menfolks planted tobacco all day. Mr Dews helped them this evening.

I went to Blairs this morning and got potatoe slips. Mrs Owen and I drawed plants part of the day.

Josie ironed this morning and churned and got dinner.

Kate Harvey solde her cow to day we guess. She passed here some one driving her.

A good day. Ben watered and planted tobacco.

Josie washed. I got dinner.

Denia Blair come this evening. We carried Edna and Franklin to Carries and we went after straw berries.

Kate and Irvin Harvey come and got a cow this morning.

A good day and very hot. Ben Owen and Paul commenced to plow corn. Josie and I capped some straw berries this morning. Josie preserved them.

Paul killed two squirrels this morning. We had them for dinner to day.

Walter Layne come this evening to look at my cow. He said he would come in the morning and get her. Josie and I planted some butter beans to day. Josie went to Marvins for some meal. Mollie and Christenia was there.

A good day most of the day. Had a little rain this evening. Ben and Paul still working tobacco. Josie ironed. I got dinner. I planted some cucumber and pumpkin seed.

Josie and Ben went to Strait Stone this evening and got some things. Among them were 4 tin buckets.

Mr Dave Layne and his son [ink smear] Walter and got a cow [smear] and calf.

Edna and Franklin are sick. If anyone wonders why this page is so blotted, I went to sleep.
