A good day very warm for the time of year.

Ben helped Richard Wooding shuck corn. Josie made sandwichs and her and Edna went to the School House and carried them. They went by Carries and got the candy that Josie and Carrie made yesterday and sand witchs that Carrie made yesterday. Josie drove Prince was gone two hours. Did not take the harness off the horse at night. Ben and I and Henry went to the School House. I think they solde a bout all that they had to sell. There was a small crowd there. The roads are very bad yet.

I could not find my glasses so this is wrote 9 15 Friday morning.

A beautiful day.

Ben cut feed for Marvin this morning. This evening Ben and Owen split wood in the woods.

Josie sewed some this morning. I got dinner.

This evening Josie and I went to Strait Stone. We drove Prince carried Franklin with us. Edna went to Carries.

Henry went to school. Kate Harvey come to Carries and would have come here if we had bin at home. I am sorry that I did not see her.

A very rainy morning creeks all out of the banks. None of the children did not go to Sunday School. Irvin Harvey got Prince to take Miss Mayhan home.

Posie and Nannie Reynolds went to Mrs Yeatts to day. Clack Hubbard is here again to night.

A good day. Ben helped Tom Edmons work on his car all the morning.

I went to George Blairs. They had a lot of company from Gretna.

Josie and Ben and the children went to Jim Powers. Mrs Carr come home with them home. Paul had a horse and buggy to day. He went to Riceville to preaching.

Prince got in the corn and eat a lot of it off. Chesley Edmons got him out of the corn.

A good day. Ben and Owen moved some tobacco and cut some. I helped to unload the waggon. Ben had Mags Grey and Jake. Paul had Prince and Pomp. Carried some primings to Gretna. He went to Chatham on Henry Blairs car. Josie ironed this morning and was sick all the evening. Mr Owen went to the mill to day but did not get his grinding. Will have to go a gain.
