A good day. Ben and Paul worked on tobacco land.

I got dinner and churned. Put ashes on the potatoes this evening. Went to Carries a few minutes this evening.

Josie made her silk waist to day. The preacher come to see Paul this morning.

A good day. Ben finished his tobacco land to day now he is ready for rain.

Mrs Edmons come this morning and staid a few hours.

Alma Bennett come here last night. She made Paul two shirts to day. Josie and I both had a hand in the dinner.

We planted two rows of tomatoes this evening.

I got one doz aster plants today. Effie Brumfield sent them from Richmond.

A good day. Ben went to Stevin Davis s to day and got a sack of ferterlizer. Finished Pauls tobacco land. He plowed in the garden and planted corn in the bottom. Josie and I planted pea nuts. I planted some Irish potatoes. Josie got dinner. Alma Bennett made Edna a dress this evening.

Ben carried Alma to Johnson Reynolds to night. Paul and Henry and Josie all went. I washed dishes while they were gone.

A good day.

Ben and Josie Edna and Franklin went to Strait Stone to preaching. Henry and I staid at home. I got a snack for dinner. After dinner Mr and Mrs Mayhew come. Ben and Mr Mayhew played croquet.

I went to see Carrie a little while. Marvin carried Mrs Rice home this evening. Alma Bennett went home to day.

Paul Bennett went to George Blairs for dinner from preaching.

A good day.

Ben and Owen and Paul planted tobacco. Mrs Owen and I drawed plants. Josie got dinner. In the evening Josie went to the plant bed. I planted some potatoe slips.

There was a lot of hard thunder this evening but no rain. Kate Harvey come a while this evening.
