A beautiful day.

Ben worked until noon then went to Mr Carrs burial. Josie and Franklin was down there. I got dinner then went with Ben to the burial. Henry went to school. Edna staid at Carries all day. We heard to day that Buck Farmer was buried to day. I set three hens this evening the first that I have set. Mr Owen plowed to day the first plowing that has bin done here this year. We had salet for dinner the first that we have had this year.

A beautiful day.

Ben carried me part of the way to Lee Brumfields. I had a good day. They had no company.

Miss Lillian Peak come be fore I come home. I started walkin met with Oscar Brumfield. Grace got his horse and buggy and brought me nearly home.

Ben and Edna come home Josie and Franklin staid at Mrs Carrs.

Henry was with me. Him and Hugh Brumfield played all the time we were at Lees.

A beautiful day.

Ben and Marvin finished shuckin and cribbing corn this evenin. Ben went to Jim Powers to try to sell Frank Mays horse. Mays shucked corn in his place. Ben brough Josie and the baby home from Mrs Carrs. I heard that Ethel Worsham has a girl born this morning.

To night Frank and George Blair and Irvin Craddock and Jim Craddock come here and staid until bed time. Irvin staid all night.

I went to Carries a while this evenin.

Henry went to school.

Edna went to Carries.

A beautiful day.

Ben cut feed for Marvin this morning. This evening Ben and Owen split wood in the woods.

Josie sewed some this morning. I got dinner.

This evening Josie and I went to Strait Stone. We drove Prince carried Franklin with us. Edna went to Carries.

Henry went to school. Kate Harvey come to Carries and would have come here if we had bin at home. I am sorry that I did not see her.

A beautiful day.

Ben and Paul suckered tobacco. Josie got dinner and canned some tomatoes. This evening she scrubbed the cook room floor.

I went to see Mollie Reynolds. She is not well but a bout.

I did not see Miss Kate or Mrs Jane they were taking their evening nap. Doris Brumfield and Christine Reynolds and Delma Owen come to Marvins a while this evening.
