colliding with each other. That in consequence numerous accidents have occurred, resulting in loss of life and destruction of property. That as said Grant Street Bridge is now being repaired and as such proposed Branch Bridge will, if constructed, be some distance from the Railroad tracks and will be entirely free from railroad crossings, all such dangers will be avoided and such accidents averted. That such bridge is a public necessity and benefit and should receive immediate consideration and Your Petitioners will ever pray for the same.

Petition to Extend City Limits of Seattle To the Honorable, the City Council, the Legislative Body of the said city of Seattle, hereby respectfully petition that the boundaries of the City of Seattle be altered and extended so as to include the new territory hereinafter described within the said City of Seattle after proceedings had as required by law, and that you submit to the electors of said city and to the electors residing in the said territory hereinafter described, the question whether said territory shall be annexed to said City of Seattle and become a part thereof. Office of County Assessor King County Washington Seattle Dec 7th 1892 To the Hon City Council of the City of Seattle Gentlemen There is an error in the assessment of W1/2 of Lot 5 Blk 6 H K Yeslers 1st Add to Seattle as same appears on City Tax Roll for the year 1892. The value of same as per County Tax Roll should be Land $400 Improvements $400 Total $800, instead of Land $600 Improvements $400 Total $1000. as appears in Page 1398 Line 21 of City Roll. This error was discovered and corrected on County Roll after the City Roll was made out and turned over. At the request of M S French the owner of said property I make this statement of facts and request your honorable body to take such action as will remedy said error. Yours Resp.
