A good morning. Rain this evening. Jim shucked corn to day. Ben plowed. Josie washed this morning. This evening she washed up the dineing room floor.

Elsie East called me this evening and said she could get a horse to take me fishing. I was a fraid to go. A fraid it would rain and it did. I was glad that we did not go. Hope that some day I can go but so many things happen. I may never go a gain. Eula Mayhew is home tonight to stay with Edna. Mr Mayhew got his truck in mud so that Jim & Ben had to help him get it out.

A cool clear day. There was a killing frost this morning. Ben finished sowing wheat today. Jim shucked some corn. I washed some.

Josie got dinner. She had beef steak and potatoe pudding. We all enjoyed dinner.

Josie, Mabel and I went to Marvins this evening. They all seemed to be getting on well.

The children went to school to day.

Jim fed the cows corn stalks today. Every thing has dried up in the pasture. It is a gloomy time a bout something to feed on.

This evening Ben & Marvin went to the school house and helped to put a pump in the well that has bin bored there. They staid late. The children come home with them. Josie had supper ready when they got home. I cut peices and sewed on my quilt most of the day. Hope to finish the squares tomorrow if I work on it.
