Further to your enquiries of the 23rd January, the following information has been supplied by Oscar Collins.

Water AMUL Wind BORAN Sand GURIER Shell DULI Speed YURKI Fish WINDA

Consuelo, he has no idea of the Native word, he remarked that the word seemed Spanish to him.

The Superintendent, Cherbourg Settlement, via MURGON.

Since the 18th October, I have been endeavouring to obtain the aboriginal words for the following English words:-

Water amul Wind boran Sand Gurier Shell Duli Speed Yurki Fish Winda Consuelo.

Reminder was sent you on the 3rd December but to date your advice has not been received and I should be pleased if you will immediately attent to this matter as such a long delay in these enquiries reflects on the Department.
