Dear Doctor
Your letter received Sorry you couldn't make the trip to the Cape but I certainly understand why.
Mom would love to come to your play, and so would I. However, I am starting a job tomorrow and won't have time off so soon. Thank you for your kind invitation whenever we can make a trip to see you, I'll let you know in advance.
You will hear from me off and on, and hope that you don't get too tired terminating things.
Love
