The Superintendent, Cherbourg Settlement, via MURGON.

Application has been made to this Office for a suitable aboriginal name for River Bend or Long Pocket and it would be appreciated if you would make enquiries from some of the Cherbourg natives and advise.

The applicant is desirous of naming a house which is situated on a bend of the Brisbane River at Long Pocket, Yeronga.
