Your reference 1A/230

Replying to your memorandum of the 15th inst I have ascertained the aboriginal meaning of the word "Indooroopilly" is "SHIFT IN"

Regarding the house at Burleigh Heads, the best my natives can do is as follows :-

GOONDO NAR House view. GOONDO BAR GINDOO Hills both sides of house. BINOO GOONDONOO Hill behind house. BULOONGE GOONG View of water in front of house.

The owner of the house concerned might possibly be able to comple a composite name.

Superintendent.
