The sixth Annual Meeting of the Subscribers of the Women's Medical College was held on Thursday the 6th of December 1888, at 4 oclock PM in the City Council Chambers and was adjourned to Friday the 14th Decr at the same hour and place when the following subscribers were present viz Messrs W Harty Chairman, RV Rogers, MH Folger, LB Spencer, Dr Alice McGillvray, Mrs Dickson and Miss Gildersleeve

The financial report of the Treasurer for year ending 1st June 1888 was read showing a balance on hand of $1856.96 It was moved that the Treasurers report be adopted, carried

It was moved that the Trustees take immediate steps to find new and suitable quarters for the College, carried.

A ballot was taken for the Election of Trustees for the ensuing year and the Scrutineers found that the old Board of Trustees for last year were re-elected viz Sir RJ Cartwright, Hon Geo A Kirkpatrick, A Gunn, Jno Carruthers, W Harty, RV Rogers, EJB Pense, MH Folger, Dr Knight, Mrs W Harty, Mrs Macnee, Mr Britton, Mrs Dickson, Mrs Trout, and Miss Gildersleeve

It was moved by Mr LB Spence seconded by Mr H Folger that the meeting adjourn for one month to hear report of Trustees as to new quarters &c, carried.

A Special Meeting of the Trustees of the Womens Medical College was held in the City Council Chambers on Monday the 17th December at 4 o'Clock PM. Present Sir RJ Cartwright, Messrs Pense, Rogers and Knight, and Mrs Dickson and Miss Gildersleeve.

It was moved that Sir RJ Cartwright be Chairman and that W Harty Esq be vice Chariman, carried.

The re-election of Dr Knight as Registrar, and A McArthur as Treasurer was moved and carried.

The Board considered the question of providing a more suitable building for College purposes. It was moved that the Vice Chairman Dr Knight, Mr Folger, Mr Pense, Mr Rogers and the Dean be a Committee to wait on Dr Grant and ascertain whether College accommodation can be had in Professor Dupuis residence; if not, to consider and report upon the suitable buildings.

It was moved that the Dean and Dr Knight be a Committee to arrange if possible for lectures on Histology for the rest of the present session, carried.

The meeting then adjourned.

A Special Meeting of the Trustees of the Womens Medical College was held in the City Council Chambers on Tuesday the 11th of April 1889 at 4 oclock in the afternoon. Present Wm Harty Esq, RV Rogers, MH Folger, EJB Pense, Dr Knight, Mrs Macnee, and Miss Gildersleeve.

A difficulty having arisen as to the award of the Trout Scholarship it was ordered that the Registrar write to Miss Brown and Mrs H Walker and ascertain from them their marks in Analytical Chemistry with view of settling.

Ordered that Dr Alice McGillivray be appointed Sub Dean of the College

Ordered that RV Rogers, Dr A McGillivray, and Dr Knight be a Committee to superintend the issue of the Calendar for next session.

Ordered that accounts be paid of $8.80 for Gas and for providing of $8.25

Ordered that Dr Lavell be requested to confer with Drs Hooper & Irwin with the view of deciding whether it would be advisable to admit Nurses to certain Classes in the Womens College

A Special Meeting of the Trustees of the Womens Medical College was held in the City Council Chambers on Saturday the 8th opf June 1889, at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Present Wm Harty Esq, Hon GA Kirkpatrick, H Folger, RV Rogers, AP Knight, Mrs Macnee, Mrs Britton, Mrs Dickson, and Miss Gildersleeve

The minutes of last meeting were read approved and signed

A memorandum was read from part of the Faculty asking for certain changes in the Constitution and management of the College

Resolved that the Trustees representing the Subscribers to the Womens Medical College feel that they cannot part with the control of the College which is virtually asked for in the memorandum under consideration and therefore they cannot approve of the changes therein suggested. The meeting then adjourned.

A Special Meeting of the Trustees of Womens Medical College was held in the City Council Chambers on 2nd July 1889 at 4 oclock afternoon

Present EJB Pense, RV Rogers, H Folger, Dr Knight, Mrs Dickson, Mrs Macnee and Miss Gildersleeve

Moved and seconded that RV Rogers be chairman of the meeting, carried.

The resignation of M Sullivan MD as Professor of Surgery was laid before the Trustees.

Resolved that Mr RV Rogers and Dr Knight be a Committee to confer with the Dean in regard to appointments to positions of professorships of Surgery and of Histology with power to make appointments if necessary.

Resolved that Dr Knight be requested to interview the Citizens with the view of securing an inscription toward the erection of a new building
