all their children. Charley drove back leaving Bell & the little ones here, going to stay all night. I glad to see them. R goes home to get her clothes to go with this family to the lecture. Grace goes home with R and finds aunt Dana there. So R comes back with G for milk & buttermilk, says cant go to the temperance lecture for visit. A beautiful evening and they start for the church, Voltie, Belle, Grace and Mart. I stay with the youngones and care for them. They came at 10 Oclock. We had a time or two with young Charles Victor crying for mamma Belle. Well H Watson meant to come home with Grace from Kingston on Thursday again commencing rather early through spring to sponge boraid [sic] and lodging again. But he did not come. [Belle|Bell]] & I sit up and visited till late

Sunday 21st May 1893 A fine morning but cool Wind W Martin went down to help Willie [sic: Wellie milk and both stayed to breakfast with Eveline. Wellie came up with Martin and watered horses, fed calves & hogs and then choped [sic: chopped] off the heads of two roosters—going to cook roosters for dinner. About 10 O'clock Charlie, Belle, Marjorie, Beatrice, Irene & Charles Victor, came. Sent the young ones over to Wills for Dalias toes for Belle Then came Will D & Jen D & Wickham with the accordion. So they all made a great noise for a while. Charley [illegible] beans evening. Evening caller Percy Burnham [illegible] the way to church accompani [illegible] Grace and Martin afte [illegible] and catch with base ba [illegible] ...Well they are gone a [illegible] Sabath is ended Goes w [illegible]
