July 19 Wednesday I dont feel very well at all but had a visitor all day. Mr Goodfellow came in the morning and stayed 'till after dark. Talked potry [sic] ancient and modern history, read and lay in Hammock for the first time and looked through the marine glasses for the first time

July 20 Thursday A very fine day Wind South no rain. Wellie and I went to K. Belle went too. great time all neighbors out getting their cheese money at the bank. Had a very pleasant day, paid some of Wells debts. I drew, 15 dollars on an Order. Wells sent to pay off hired help. Miss Bird came down with Wickham to Wills Dixon. Goodfellow went up on the boat this morning with his bycicle [sic]

July 15 Sunday 1894 A warm day showery day. I went too Wills, Maude went too. Williams and Wickham there. Had a jug of cider, George Niles had dinner with us. LaFleur here in the evening.

Monday 16 July 1899 A very warm day. Grace washed all the clothes. Boys drawing hay at Wellies all day. I washed a lot of clothes too.

Sunday 21st May 1893 A fine morning but cool Wind W Martin went down to help Willie [sic: Wellie milk and both stayed to breakfast with Eveline. Wellie came up with Martin and watered horses, fed calves & hogs and then choped [sic: chopped] off the heads of two roosters—going to cook roosters for dinner. About 10 O'clock Charlie, Belle, Marjorie, Beatrice, Irene & Charles Victor, came. Sent the young ones over to Wills for Dalias toes for Belle Then came Will D & Jen D & Wickham with the accordion. So they all made a great noise for a while. Charley [illegible] beans evening. Evening caller Percy Burnham [illegible] the way to church accompani [illegible] Grace and Martin afte [illegible] and catch with base ba [illegible] ...Well they are gone a [illegible] Sabath is ended Goes w [illegible]
